Lately I’ve really been into body scrubs. I love how silky smooth they leave your skin after a treatment. There are several different types of body scrubs as well as benefits from each one. I have put together a list of homemade body scrubs you can easily do with ingredients you probably already have at home. Treat yourself as often as you like to help you unwind, relax and that leaves your skin feeling silky smooth.
Baby Rose Sugar Scrub

1.5 cups of plain white sugar
1/4 cup of baby oil
12 rose petals
food processor (any kind will do, or a blender or your bare hands)
mason jar
This is a no fail sugar scrub recipe. I prefer my scrubs to be grainy. If you prefer a smoother sugar scrub, simply add more baby oil. The sugar fluffs it up; the oil smoothes it out.
Super Simple Sugar Shave Scrub with Coconut Oil

1 cup unrefined organic coconut oil
1 cup granulated sugar
Mix together with your hands or spoon in a Tupperware bowl and transfer to jar (my favorite storage for ANYTHING is a mason jar. They’re pretty and easy to store and very inexpensive… a 12pk is about $9 at your local grocery store). Apply prior to shaving and you will never buy shaving cream again!
Lemon Sugar Scrub

1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp of honey
1/2 of a lemon
1/2 cup of granulated sugar
a Tupperware bowl or something with a tight fitting lid
Mix the oil, lemon juice and honey together until they incorporate with each other. Add the sugar, mix. Voila, you have a wonderful smelling body and face scrub.

Now, this scrub is full of ingredients we ALL have. I think I’m going to try this one tomorrow (what is better than baby soft skin with the added exfoliating benefits?!).
2.5 cups of sugar
¼ cup of baby oil
¼ cup baby wash
½ drop red food coloring
Oatmeal Coconut Cookie Scrub

Clik here to view. This one looks and sounds like it would smell fantastic; and would be perfect for gifts (Christmas for the teachers maybe?)! The oatmeal is soothing, baking soda exfoliates and the coconut oil moisturizes.
½ cup oatmeal
1 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp baking soda
6 tbsp coconut oil
Blend oats into a powder and combine dry ingredients. Mix in coconut oil (liquid, may need to heat in microwave for about 20 seconds).
